Technical Cleanliness Inspection Solution for Fuel & EV Automotive Components

1. Why need Technical Cleanliness Inspection for Fuel & EV Automotive Component

1.1 Preventing Auto Parts from Contamination

Impurities such as metal debris, oil, and abrasive particles remaining on or within the components can lead to accelerated wear of assembled parts, seizure of precision components, and seal failure.

1.2 Preventing Contamination of Critical Systems

- Fuel System: Impurities can clog fuel filters and injectors, causing reduced engine power, unstable idle speed, or even stalling.

- Lubrication System: Particles in the engine oil can exacerbate internal engine wear and shorten service life.

- Braking System: Impurities in the brake lines or calipers can cause brake lag, unusual squeaking, and, in severe cases, brake failure.

- Electronic Systems: Oil or dust contamination of sensors and wiring harness connectors can cause signal transmission failures, impacting functions such as autonomous driving and ABS.

1.3 Preventing Contamination During Vehicle Assembly

- Assembly Environment: Ensure workshop air cleanliness (e.g., dust level) and work surface cleanliness to prevent dust and fibers from entering the vehicle body or components.

- Assembly Tools: Wrenches, clamps, and other tools with oil or metal shavings can contaminate components during operation.

- Logistics: Damaged packaging during transportation and storage can easily introduce contaminants (e.g., rainwater, mud, and sand).

2. Testing Standards of Technical Cleanliness Inspection in Fuel & EV Automotive Components

• Complies with the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) VDA PPA 2020 (6th Edition).

• VDA 19.1/VDA 19.2 Specifications: All Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 suppliers must comply with standards such as VW 01134, BMW QV11111, and Mercedes-Benz TRL, which Jinyibo strictly adheres to.

• Complies with VDA 19 & ISO 16232 international standards.
